Certification information

93 training hours.

Applicants typically hold a university degree in any major; the IIA also accepts alternative paths, such as final-year students or candidates with sufficient professional experience.

Yes; you get an electronic question bank containing over 1,300 past exam questions and exercises, with an explanation of the correct answer for each question.

It is taken at the Specialized Technical Services (STS) centre in Amman, and there are several other accredited centers across the Arab world.

The exam is available in Arabic and is multiple choice. You must score a scaled score of 600 (on a 250–750 scale) in each part to pass. Part One has 125 questions; Parts Two and Three have 100 each.

The bank contains over 1,300 questions and answers on the SarhOnline platform, with explanations and clarifications of the correct answer for each question.

SarhOnline brings all your study tools together in one place: the question bank with explanations, mock exams that simulate the real CIA exam, review cards, digital books, and a readiness indicator with a study plan adjusted by the ‘Allam’ smart assistant based on your progress.

‘Allam’ is a smart assistant that has read the three CIA books and their question bank. You ask it in Arabic about any concept or question, and it explains based on the material, and builds a study plan that adapts to your progress, pace, and weak points.

The curriculum consists of three digital books that are read within the SarhOnline platform, with the option to order printed copies for an additional shipping fee that varies by delivery address. You choose the version (paper or electronic) from the product page when purchasing.

The digital books are valid for 12 months, and the question bank (including the Allam assistant) is valid for 18 months on the SarhOnline platform. The account can be used from one device per user to protect copyright.

If a technical error occurs or you are unable to attend the interactive lecture for any reason, we provide you with the lecture recording, which remains available for 7 consecutive days.

The course fees cover only the training and scientific curricula. Exam fees are paid when booking, according to the price announced on the IIA website, and may vary from country to country; therefore, we recommend checking the IIA website in your country. We have a dedicated department for correspondence and exam booking if you need assistance.
