Certified Human Resources Manager
Your professional step into leading human resources — studied in Arabic, with an exam you sit at the centre or from home.

to leading it
The CHRM from the Global Association for Quality Management (GAQM) moves you from carrying out HR procedures to leading them. There are no prerequisites, the syllabus and exam are available in Arabic, and the exam is 100 questions you can sit at the centre or from home.
Why study CHRM at Sarh?
Human resources is a profession of judgement, not paperwork — and the difference is being taught with examples from the market itself.
Accredited by GAQM
The Global Association for Quality Management, where Sarh is an accredited training and testing centre.
Study and sit it in Arabic
The syllabus is in Arabic and the exam is available in both Arabic and English.
No prerequisites
You need no previous HR experience to enrol.
Built for moving across
Many who studied with us came from other departments and moved into human resources.
Practice, not memorisation
Real cases drawn from the Jordanian workplace rather than pure theory.
80% pass first time
Our students’ first-attempt pass rate on the CHRM.

Attend the way that suits you
Same lectures, same instructor, same materials — only where you sit changes. Most of our students are in full-time work, and the timetable is built around that.
- In person — interactive lectures at Sarh with discussion and practical cases.
- Live online — the same session at the same time, with full interaction with the instructor and the group.
- Recordings — if you cannot attend, the recording reaches you and stays available for seven days.
The syllabus
From workforce planning to the legislation governing the relationship with the employee — the full cycle of an HR department’s work.
| Module | What you learn |
|---|---|
| Modern human resource management | HR as a strategic partner rather than a service department. |
| Workforce planning | Estimating staffing needs and building the organisational structure. |
| Recruitment and selection | Advertising, screening, interviewing and objective selection tools. |
| Job analysis and description | Building job descriptions and setting responsibilities and requirements. |
| Performance management | Appraisal systems, performance indicators and feedback. |
| Training and development | Identifying training needs and measuring training impact. |
| Pay and rewards | Salary structures, incentives and benefits, and tying them to performance. |
| Labour relations and legislation | Labour law, social security and regulating the contractual relationship. |
An accredited GAQM training and testing centre
The Global Association for Quality Management awards the CHRM. Sarh is formally accredited by GAQM as a training and testing centre, so preparation and examination both sit under the awarding body itself.
- Documented accreditation — a certificate issued by GAQM in Sarh’s name.
- A testing centre — accredited for training and examination together.
- An international credential — recognised outside Jordan as well.

Who is it for?
If part of your work involves people — hiring them, appraising them or developing them — this is aimed at you.

Graduates
HR staff at banks and finance companies — some of whom came into the field from another department.
Honestly, I want to talk about my experience, having taken the CHRM course with you. In fairness the place is very well organised and comfortable, and the rooms are clean and fully equipped. The staff are very respectful and understanding. Dr Nidal Al-Bawwab is a wonderful person in his teaching and gets the information across smoothly.
I wanted to share my experience after finishing the CHRM course at Sarh with Dr Nidal Bawwab. I used to think HR courses were all rote learning, but at Sarh and with Dr Nidal I changed my mind completely. The lectures went by quickly because the teaching was so enjoyable and the atmosphere at the centre was good.
Taha Samih KhalilJordan Islamic BankMy experience on the CHRM course at Sarh training institute was excellent. The content was clear and well organised, and the instructor is capable and teaches in a practical style. The institute is professional and highly organised. I recommend it strongly.
