The 2026 curriculum for the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) exam from Sarh International for Consulting & Training comes with a new AI study assistant called Allam. Allam runs on SarhOnline and has read the three CIA books and the question bank, so it answers your CIA questions from the course material itself, in Arabic or English.

What Allam does for CIA candidates

Answers questions about any standard or concept in the CIA syllabus, drawing on the books and the question bank.
Explains why each answer option in a question is right or wrong.
Knows what you have practised and how ready you are, and points you to the topics that need more work.
Builds a study plan that adapts to your progress, your pace and your weak areas.

Allam is included in the electronic access that comes with the curriculum books, and with the CIA online question bank bought on its own. Access lasts 18 months, counted from your first login to SarhOnline rather than from the purchase date, and your account works on two devices. Before you buy, you can create a free SarhOnline account, try a sample of the material and chat with Allam.

The 2026 Sarh International CIA curriculum

Allam works alongside three Arabic-language books written by Sarh International, one for each part of the exam, following The IIA’s 2025 CIA syllabus:

Part 1: Internal Audit Fundamentals
Part 2: Internal Audit Engagement
Part 3: Internal Audit Function

The books come in print or electronic form, as the full set or a single part, and every option includes the online question bank: more than 1,300 exam-style questions, each with a worked solution, plus flashcards and mock exams in an interface modelled on the CIA exam. You can download the table of contents for all three parts before you buy.

The recorded course

Part 1 of the recorded CIA course is available now, with either the e-book or the printed book, and access lasts 12 months from purchase and activation. Parts 2 and 3 are coming soon.

A note on the Arabic CIA exam

The IIA states that the Arabic-language CIA exam stays on the 2019 syllabus until 27 December 2026 and moves to the 2025 syllabus from 28 December 2026. Talk to our team before you choose your exam date.
